formation of India’s first National Park in 1936 called as Hailey National Park , which in

The Corbett National
Park is situated in Ramnagar in the district of Nainital ,Uttarakhand ,located
partly along a valley between Lesser Himalayas in north and the Shivaliks in
the South it incorporates in itself various species of plants and charismatic

The National Park is spreaded across 520 sq km of area with

Corbett National Park has been separated in 5 different zones
namely Jhirna ,Sonanadi , Dikhala ,
Bijrani and Durga Devi zone each of them
having varied topography and distinctive visting period .The weather being
temperate in the reserve , the temperature in the winters ranges from (5 to 25)
degree Celsius and (30 to 40) degree Celsius around summers.
Bengal tigers with dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur and
a lighter underside although plentiful in the park , are not easily spotted due
to the abundance of camouflage in the reserve , but having right tracking
skills and knowledge of the forest you
might get lucky during your safari .
