Finally the hot summer season is coming to an end, and with summers going coming is the rainy season of monsoon. It is the time of the year when most parts of India experience huge rainfall and Uttarakhand is no exception. Jim Corbett National Park in Nainital district of Uttarakhand experience the rainfall in three digits throughout monsoon, making it one of the rainiest districts of Uttarakhand. If you are seeking quality time alone or with friends, this is the right time for you to visit the Jim Corbett National Park, as during monsoon the three most visited zones are closed due to the rising level of water in the Ramganga river which cuts off these zones from other zones of the region.Dhikala reopens on 15 Nov, while Bijrani and Durgadevi on 15 Oct. And till the time these zones reopens, reserve is full of peace and you could really enjoy your stay in the reserve, having a sip of tea in the resorts and enjoying different cuisines amidst the rain will give you an experience ...
Are you an wildlife enthusiast and want to explore the beauty of nature
.Corbett National Park is the place which I
would recommend for you to visit
. Sitting in the Sub –Himalayan belt
with dense moist deciduous forest and temperate grassland ,also with the river Ramganga flowing through it ,
it forms a perfect ecosystem between the numerous species of flora and fauna
that the park incorporates .The ecotourism destination attracts huge number
of tourists because of its splendid
landscape , diverse wildlife and
mainly because of the endangered Bengal
Tiger and the reserve has the highest
attendance of them in whole of India.
The reserve is
separated in different zones namely Dikhala , Bijrani, Durga devi
,Jhirna ,Sitabani and Dhela each zone
being different from each other in all
aspects and also in its visit timings due to the monsoon .

Bijrani

Durga devi

The other three zones namely Jhirna ,Sitabani and Dhela are
open all year long .
So do plan accordingly and in our opinion if Dhikala
,Bijrani , Duga devi are not visited , the visit would be incomplete as they
are the heart of the reserve .
We know that you are very curious and excited to have a
visit to this destination and have glimpses of the apex predator , the Asian
Elephant ,one horned Rhino and many more in their own habitat .
To take nature’s enthusiasts
more close to the mother nature , the reserve provides the facility of jeep safaris and elephant safaris.
