If you are seeking quality time alone or with friends, this is the right time for you to visit the Jim Corbett National Park, as during monsoon the three most visited zones are closed due to the rising level of water in the Ramganga river which cuts off these zones from other zones of the region.Dhikala reopens on 15 Nov, while Bijrani and Durgadevi on 15 Oct. And till the time these zones reopens, reserve is full of peace and you could really enjoy your stay in the reserve, having a sip of tea in the resorts and enjoying different cuisines amidst the rain will give you an experience

Best Time to Visit Corbett National Park

Summers  are here and the temperature is soaring up , level of mercury is increasing at a  steep rate and I don’t think its gonna stop for some time . It is the perfect  time you can plan a tour with your family and friends.

Being aboriginally from a small village in Almora  , my way back home passes through Corbett National Park  I feel myself very lucky and fortunate enough that   whenever I visit my birthplace  I always  have glimpses of wild animals running by the road , the chirping of birds and the gentle wind blowing always enthrails me. To my observance , during summers in comparison to winters I encountered more no of animals.
 .
So in my opinion you should start packing and  visit  as soon as possible to the India’s first National Park. According to my personal experience I would suggest you to visit this reserve in summers , it  would not only act as temperature buster  , you have the opportunity to see large no of animals simultaneously near water bodies , as they come there to kill their thirst and to cool their body temperature with bath at the basins of Ramganga river . Not limiting yourself in wildlife safari you can have great time with the adventure activities that includes fishing , trekking , rock climbing , mountain biking and much more .You also can stay in the reserve in the resorts where you will for sure feel living with the nature .Being in The Land of Gods  (Uttarakhand) , the Corbett  is also blessed with  some ancient temples Garjiya Devi Temple and Sitabani Temple .

Corbett is  a place where you can explore wildlife , enjoy adventurous activities , live with the nature , and visit ancient temples , its an all in one package . So what are you waiting for , give a visit to this beautiful place in The Land of Gods and feel blessed.
